You may have read my post last year about my “Water World – 5 Tips from a Mom“, we were invited back this year to have some FUN in the WATER!
And that’s exactly what we did. We went on a Thursday, and it was busy! In saying that, it was not too bad as far as line ups, etc. We didn’t have to wait long for the rides at all! Which is always nice when you have small people with attention spans of ’0′.
We got so much more out of this visit than last year! Last year, the boys were younger, we didn’t know where to go and what to do right off. This time we knew exactly where we wanted plant ourselves, we knew which rides we wanted to do, we knew the general lay out of the park. In saying that though, we left this visit knowing we’d have to come back and enjoy a whole section of the park we missed the first 2 times!!!
Like this part that we noticed as we walked to our vehicle! We all looked up at it and said …
“HEY!!!! We missed that!!”
Let me tell you, you have to arrive by 10am if you want to get a whole day in! We thought getting there at 11-11:30 would be fine as we’d be there for 6.5-7 hours!
We made time for the Lazy River and actually went around it 3 times … well, the youngest made it 4 times, he wasn’t so lazy and didn’t quite get the concept! haha
It was triple digits the day we were there, you’d think we’d be ready to exit and be done for the day … NOPE! All of us wanted more time! There is never enough hours in the day when you go to Water World for the parents or the kids. We could’ve easily done a few more hours there and enjoyed every second of it.
There are many fun rides for ALL ages! This one, my 7 year old didn’t want to ride, but my 5 year old was ALL over and did it 3 TIMES!!
He LOVED this ride!!
This was our view walking IN to the park. This is just ONE of the HUGE wave pools at Water World!
I love this shot below. There are a couple of ‘toilet bowl’ rides at Water World. You shoot out from a waterslide in to a huge ‘bowl’ and you go around and around until you lose momentum and you ‘fall’ out the bottom in to a pool of water. So fun!!
The yellow and blue ride is a WATER Roller coaster!! Totally fun!
You should follow Water World on Facebook to see what’s going on.
Visit their website to get all the details to plan your visit!!!
