How to Make a Mosaic

How do you  mosaic a pot?  How do you mosaic a backsplash?  How do you tile a mosaic a "anything"? It's quite simple really!  Not that complicated, actually. Craft Projects on Daily Craft TV

I had the pleasure of going to the Sew News studios and taping 2 one hour segments for Daily Craft TV!!! It was so great to have hair and make up done once again!  It's always so nice to not have to do it yourself!  Sorry for the grainy picture ... iPhone snapshot ... I got to tape with Nikki of Sew News, she was a great host and kept things moving along smoothly.  Isn't she a doll!  I think next time, I'll wear heels!  And we'll take the picture together at the BEGINNING of the shoot so I'm fresh!  Talking all day took a lot out of me ... who knew that could be possible???!!! How to make Burlap Flowers  I'm very excited to share this tutorial with you today I made these curtains and needed some tiebacks, but didn't want boring or anything without some interest.  I saw this picture and pinned it awhile ago and knew that I wanted to make  myself a pair of these beautiful flowers for my curtains in my front room. I love texture, so burlap fit the bill pretty good for that and would hold it's shape very well. How to Paint Brass light fixtures – and update any room

... without breaking the bank! We've lived in this house for over a year and every.single.day I wake up and go in to my bathroom, I think to myself, "I really need to do something with that light." I hate it, hate it, hate it!!! It was the style I guess when the house was built in the early 90's. So, not having a lot of expendable cash on hand, I knew I needed to paint them.
