Getting Ready for a Craft Show

What a busy couple of weeks.

I was recently asked to attend the Jazz on 2nd Festival in Niwot to sell my wares.  Not planning on selling at any shows during the summer, I wasn’t, let’s say, prepared. So, I’ve been a bit busy trying to get everything ready and together making sure I have enough of everything.

I’ve been trying to think of how I’m going to set up my booth so it’s not just a lonely looking table.  I want it to be interesting and inviting and colorful.  However, I don’t want to spend a lot of money on it {because everything I do is on a budget, you know how it is}

So, I’ve been checking out my favorite places, Craigslist and Goodwill.

I got these plantation shutters for FREE on Craigslist

I’ve been spray painting!  So, you know I’ve been happy!!

And painted them my favorite color, robin’s egg blue.

I’ve also painted some paper plates…

But, I have another post for what I’m doing with those in the future for you!

It has to do with getting ready for a Craft Show inexpensively as well.  Kind of proud of my little idea and can’t wait to share it with you!  It’ll have to wait till after the show though.

Although, I’m sure I’ll forget something.  It’s like a party.

You can plan till the cows come home, but there’ll be something that’ll go ‘wrong’ or be missing.  But it’ll be okay and it’ll be just fine.

I wanted to let you know that I will be closing up shop over the weekend.

If there is anything you’ve had your eye on, you need to grab it now as it’s all going to the show.

  1. That’s my favorite color too!! Love the shutters.

  2. Wow, what a beautiful transformation. It’s a wonderfully NEW look and a great idea too. I’ll bookmark you so I can check back to see how you used this in your show. Good luck.
