Creative Estates ~ Bloggy Stars I met

The name is so fitting for these gals that I met at Creative Estates….

Everybody at the conference knew who these gals were {and if they didn’t, they certainly do now} and have been following them for some time {well, I have been anyway}

There were a few gals that I wish I could’ve chatted with more … next conference.  And there were gals that I wished I would’ve gotten a picture with … next conference!

Let’s start with …. hmmm…. no particular order, girls…..

Becca from Blue Cricket Designs

She sent me this picture, isn’t she CUTE!!!!!!!!

What can I say about her?  I think we are kindred spirits.  She likes thrifting as much as I do.  WOOT!  I almost feel as if I’ve known her from somewhere else.  Not like we’ve been friends forever, but like I’ve been thinking that I’ve met her before and can’t place it.  She’s so easy going and relaxed that she was so easy to talk to and hang out with.  A very genuine gal.  I really enjoyed meeting her as I have followed her for some time and linked my furniture makeovers to her linky parties.  I have a feeling that I have made a new friend!

How about we talk about Shelley from the House of Smiths ….

Did you know that she just met KELLY RIPA in New York?  How exciting!  It was an Electrolux deal!  She’s connected, people!  This mama is soooooooooo stinkin funny!!!  She shared her story about how her blog began and what she went through at the beginning … all I can say is that she INSPIRED me!  Oh, and she can sing too!  She wrote up some lyrics to go with the popular Cee Lo Green song and sang it at the end of her session … and she did an encore.  I don’t think I ever spotted  this ray of sunshine without a smile on her face!  She was a bloggy star that I wanted to be around for sure!!

Jen from Tatertots and Jello

Just her blog’s name alone makes you want to go take a look.  I would really like to know where she got the name actually … I’ll have to note that question for the next time we meet.  I was sad not to get a picture with her, but this is her teaching a brief little painting class {the painting I made in her class is below}.  I have linked to her blog as well {and she noticed me!  lil ol’ me!!!}.  She has featured a few of my furniture makeovers in the past, and let me tell you, it was so flattering for me!  It’s funny, I started blogging and never did I ever think that I would meet some of the gals behind these blogs that have inspired me!  It was really a treat to meet Jen!!

Okay, I think that’s enough for now … gotta go care for the two little guys in the house who need my attention …

xo Tara
